Welcome to Bastiaansen.XYZ a website created by a tech-enthousiast and IT-consultant. My name is Sander Bastiaansen and I wish to record all my findings and learnings on this website. I`m mostly working on Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Cloud services and in my spare time Domotica.

Being an IT-Consultant for over 10 years now I am pretty experienced in on-prem IT-architecture. I have worked with VMware, Micrsoft Server and Citrix platforms all alike. Lately my focus, and that of the entire IT sector, has shifted towards cloud-services. I`ve been training and following everything Microsoft Azure related. Mostly towards IaaS and PaaS services.

This website is built on Hugo. Written in Go, Hugo is an open source static site generator available under the Apache Licence 2.0. Hugo supports TOML, YAML and JSON data file types, Markdown and HTML content files and uses shortcodes to add rich content. Other notable features are taxonomies, multilingual mode, image processing, custom output formats, HTML/CSS/JS minification and support for Sass SCSS workflows. Hugo is ideal for blogs, corporate websites, creative portfolios, online magazines, single page applications or even a website with thousands of pages.
